Agri Seed Testing has been serving the agriculture industry in Oregon and beyond for nearly 40 years. The results produced in our lab give insight to farmers and seed companies regarding the quality of their seed.
The Seed Analyst will learn through on-the-job training to divide seed samples through the use of mechanical dividers and digital scales. Analysts will also utilize good hand-eye coordination, fine dexterity to move seed under a magnified lens to search for other crops, weeds, and inert on a weighted amount. Analyst must be capable of following Standard Operating Procedures and seed testing rules to carry-out such examinations. Candidates must have good mathematic skills for essential calculations required for the position.
No previous experience is required; starting wage may be negotiated based on past experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• No allergies to seeds, dust, etc.
• Generic mathematic skills
• Ability to sit or stand for 4 hours at a time
• Reliable, attends work often
• Works well independently
• Ability to take direction
