Description The Seed Receiving Department is looking for a detail-oriented team member to assist with daily receiving tasks. The team member must have basic computer skills in order to learn frequently used SAP applications, communicate well with others, and be able to complete simple math functions. Job Responsibilities and Duties Use SAP to support and complete receiving functions and lab orders Accept and record dock deliveries to continuously process delivered seed Complete simple math calculations to assist in the receiving process Adhere to all quality control measures and watch for signs of tampering and contamination Check seed labels to ensure accuracy Move seed to vaults to make seed available for production in a timely manner Complete the tares/pouches process Communicate effectively with team members Requirements Must have a High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills are required (Microsoft Applications – EXCEL) Provides timely and helpful information to others, attentively listens to others Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning opportunities Follows through on commitments and makes sure others do the same Good verbal and written communication skills Bilingual in Spanish is preferred Hourly Pay Range: $16-$19 Physical Requirements Ability to sit/stand 100% of the day, standing for long periods of time Ability to use fingers/hands 100% of the day Ability to reach 25% of the day Ability to push/pull up to 40 pounds Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds Must be able to work in cold vault of 40 degrees for short periods of time Our promise to you We create excitement in the world of flowers and are the first choice for service.
