Description The Seeding Machine Operator is a critical member of the growing team. Their role supports producing a quality product on time for our customers by overseeing the seed preparation, seeding, and cleaning in coordination with production plans. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Role may include some or all of the responsibilities listed below) Seed placement Keeping track of seed loss Maintaining proper soil moisture Quality - Support Food Safety by always ensuring cleanliness of the equipment and area Check that the gutters are clean Maintain the equipment in good running condition Pay attention to the details Point of contact for all support areas, work with Maintenance technicians on equipment problems Communication with the seeding lead Any other jobs as required by the direct supervisor Total coverage of the Seeding area. Responsible for making the test in accordance with the requests of the growers. Responsible for sending the complete gutters in accordance with the quality specifications. Assist in communicating with maintenance on daily requests Assisting with other jobs required by production supervisor or growers. Requirements Good work ethic Team player Ability to drive a forklift (preferred) Standing on feet for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 40lbs Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with equipment Must be able to work weekends Computer Savvy Bi-lingual preferred but not required
