Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Understand market demand and put the grower needs into the focus.
  • Suggest local campaign priorities in order to best implement & deliver our crop strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional Campaign Teams (campaign managers, technical support, sales and sales effectiveness) in order to design & execute customer-tailored campaigns.
  • Liaison with marketing services and external agencies in relation to content generation and execution.
  • Translate offers to customer (channel or grower) needs and detail including delivery plan, pricing and commercial policies.
  • Sequence roll out in logical way to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure campaigns are executed in line with marketing budget and plan set by the campaign team.
  • Leverage campaigns dependencies at grower level between CP/SE where it makes sense.
  • Measuring, following up and tracking the campaigns by creating KPIs, milestones and follow up processes.
  • Working with Sales conduct post campaign in-field measurement of campaign effectiveness.
  • Support 5-year Crop Marketing Plan and commercial policies by providing local market insights.
    Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:

  • at least 3 years of experience as Marketing Manager or in sales role for complex market/s, in a challenging, cross cultural environment
  • 3 years experience working with a network of agencies and contacts (external and internal);
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the agribusiness industry
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Degree: BSc/MSc Agricultural degree
  • Develops/executes campaign plans
  • Develops/implements effective product communications
  • Able to use market research effectively to understand customer, markets, channels
  • Understands customer needs
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Project management
