Working at Syngenta Seeds means being part of a passionate team with attractive benefits and interesting career opportunities Job Description As part of our Seed Production operations in Bad Slazuflen Germany, Syngenta is looking for a: Seeds Procurement Manager (f/m/d) Role purpose: The Seeds Procurement Manager oversees contracting of third-party seed multiplication and toll seeds processing in Europe. You build strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and sustainable supply. You implement vendor contract strategies for Cereals and Parent Seeds, collaborating with production teams to negotiate contracts that optimize costs and drive performance improvements. You also develop innovative pricing models to support long-term business growth. Responsibilities/main tasks: Drive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and production needs Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance the Syngenta brand value and supplier relationships Lead contract negotiations and management for optimal commercial terms Build and maintain strong networks with Production teams and suppliers Ensure compliance and best practices in all purchasing processes Drive continuous improvement in cost reduction and operational efficiency Manage grower relationships, segmentation, and contract incentives Provide market intelligence and spend analysis to optimize business decision Qualifications Knowledge and experience expected: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Finance, or related field Strong negotiation and contract management expertise Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Proven track record influencing cross-functional, international teams Experience working in matrix organizations and multicultural environments Proficiency in procurement systems 3+ years’ experience in procurement and/or seeds production Fluent in local language,+ full proficiency in English (French is a plus) Additional Information Employment: full-time Contract: permanent Location: remote, Germany (other Western-Europe applications welcome) Syngenta is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion or any other employment practices for reasons of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
