JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker with their MSW or a Qualified Psychotherapist, from the Chatham-Kent area, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic support to their clients, with a focus on enhancing their mental health and well-being. This role requires expertise in client care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing treatment plans and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience working with clients in a therapeutic setting is highly desirable.
  • Member in good standing with either the OCSWSSW or a fully qualified member in good standing with the CRPO.
  • Experience working with children, youth and adults in a therapeutic role is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Play Therapy Techniques would be an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients that have diverse needs and backgrounds.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, educators, and family members to ensure holistic client care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using the JANE APP.
  • Engage in ongoing data collection to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions as necessary.
