JOB OVERVIEW Working on Linguistic Validation projects, you are responsible for ensuring translations of Clinical Outcome Assessments are linguistically and culturally accurate. You possess fluency in two or more languages and have outstanding problem-solving skills that allow you to research industry-specific terminology. These projects require linguists with a strong commitment to accuracy; you will play a key role in the effectiveness and success of IQVIA™ Translation Solutions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Be a strategic partner in delivering on-time and quality translations • Carefully adhere to provided material and instructions to meet the requirements of the clients • Research industry-specific terminology to properly reflect the meaning and tone of the source content • Cross-reference specialized glossaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation • Quality Check translation jobs before delivery for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy • Work with the IQVIA™ Translation Services team to identify gaps in instructions or any external issue that may affect the commitment to the client. • Flag project-specific queries in a timely manner • Maintain close communication with Project Management and Vendor Management teams with regards to own capacity REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Native in the target language Fluency in source language(s) – spoken and written Ability to work according to tight deadlines, as well as independently Preferred Skills and Requirements Translation experience with clinical outcome assessments. Prior experience performing any services within Linguistic Validation: dual forward translation, reconciliation, back translation.
