Description Temple Beth El of Boca Raton is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and engaging Hebrew Through Movement Teacher to join our Sunday religious school team. The ideal candidate is a native-level Hebrew speaker who enjoys working with elementary-aged children and is passionate about making Hebrew learning active, fun, and meaningful through movement, games, music, and interactive activities. This is a part-time position and an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hebrew educator or someone with a strong background in Hebrew language instruction and Jewish education. Schedule Sundays: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Follows the Religious School calendar. Essential Responsibilities Teach Hebrew vocabulary and conversational language through the Hebrew Through Movement methodology (WILLING TO TRAIN). Lead engaging, movement-based lessons that encourage active participation and language acquisition. Create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Directors of the Religious School and fellow faculty to support student learning. Prepare lesson materials and activities for weekly classes. Communicate professionally with staff regarding student progress and classroom needs. Requirements Qualifications Native-level Hebrew fluency (required). Experience teaching children in a classroom, religious school, camp, or similar educational setting preferred. Knowledge of Jewish traditions and culture. Experience with the Hebrew Through Movement program or similar immersive language instruction is preferred; training may be provided. Excellent interpersonal, classroom management, and communication skills. Reliable, energetic, and passionate about working with children. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in movement-based instruction. Ability to stand, walk, and engage with students throughout the class session. Compensation Competitive hourly compensation based on qualifications and experience.
