OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable caregiver to provide in-home support for a senior man with mobility issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in Punjabi is essential to communicate effectively with the client
• Experience working with seniors with Dementia or Parkinson’s
• Ability to safely assist with mobility
• Must reside in or be able to travel to Tuscany, Calgary (driving or transit is fine)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in home care, senior care, or with neurodegenerative conditions
• Training in personal support work, nursing assistance, or home care
• CPR/First Aid certification is an asset

  Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 21 – 28 per week

• Assist with personal care (diapering, toileting, oral care, bathing, dressing, and grooming)
• Help with feeding (meals are prepared by the family)
• Encourage and assist the client to move periodically to avoid excessive sleeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Light housekeeping and laundry support
