The ideal candidate will have experience in a production-based environment, above average attention to detail and the ability to maintain adequate attendance. See detailed description below: Schedule - Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM (Four 10-hour days, off Fri, Sat, Sun) POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform duties to meet production requirements to include: boxing, packaging and labeling of fuel. Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching Purchase Orders to Sales Orders. Read Customer Orders, Work Orders Shipping Orders or Requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. Fill Requisitions, Work Orders, or Requests for Materials and distributes them to shipping or to designated route driver storage area. Assist in counting of physical inventory. Wear proper safety equipment. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times. Sweep, dust and mop warehouse as needed. Will be required to perform other warehouse duties as requested, directed or assigned. ** These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities and duties. ** Requirements REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to maintain safe work environment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. PREFERRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: HazMat Training is a plus. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires heavy lifting. Requires standing for 8-10 hours per day. Requires kneeling/ squatting for 1-2 hours per day. Requires bending/ stooping for 2-4 hours per day. Requires use of Pallet Jack to move palletized containers. Palletized containers weigh about 2,000 lbs. Requires moving by hand 54 gallon drums weighing 435-550 lbs. each for 8-10 hours per day. Requires moving by forklift 54 gallon drums weighing 435-550 lbs. each for 8-10 hours per day. Requires lifting 38 lb. empty drums overhead and stacking for 2-4 hours per day. Requires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 36-55 lbs. from 2-4 hours per day. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a combination of shop and outside environments.
