Seismic Restraint Engineer - Wellington Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity Join a dynamic team shaping New Zealand’s seismic resilience. We’re looking for a Structural or Mechanical Engineer to join our well-established team delivering seismic engineering projects across Aotearoa. In this role, you will: You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment on meaningful projects, gaining hands-on experience in planning and executing seismic restraint solutions. You’ll contribute to a supportive and social team culture, applying your engineering knowledge and judgement to projects of varying scale and complexity, while helping to strengthen the resilience of New Zealand’s infrastructure. Ko wai koe | About you We’re keen to hear from you if you are: A qualified Structural or Mechanical Engineer with an interest in seismic design for building services, ceilings, partitions, or other non-structural elements. Familiar with undertaking analysis/design for seismic restraint of building services components, ceilings, partitions, and other non-structural components or willing to learn. Familiar with New Zealand standards such as NZS1170 and NZS4219—or eager to learn. From a consulting or construction background, with a passion for delivering great outcomes and building strong relationships. A team player who enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively. Curious and open to learning about building services systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and interior construction.
