This position focuses on supporting students with significant social-emotional and behavioral needs in a structured, nurturing classroom environment. As part of the school’s specialized program, you’ll deliver individualized instruction, implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and integrate social-emotional learning into daily routines. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to build consistent supports that promote both academic and emotional growth. Key Responsibilities: Foster a safe, predictable, and supportive classroom culture. Implement and monitor BIPs and individualized learning plans. Encourage independence, resilience, and positive peer interactions. Partner with school staff and families to align strategies and track progress. Provide targeted instruction in academics, emotional regulation, and coping strategies. Requirements Valid Minnesota teaching certificate.
