Instead of being told what to do or where to go, they create a personalized plan, and you’ll help guide and support them every step of the way. This role is about empowering others, not directing them. You’ll act as a trusted partner, helping people create and follow through on their own goals, whether that’s improving mental health, getting back to work or school, strengthening relationships, or building independence. We strongly encourage individuals with disabilities and those from diverse backgrounds to apply. Whether or not you’re familiar with the services we offer, if you’ve used personal experience to grow, to help others, or to find your voice, you might be just the kind of person who can empower someone else to do the same. You don’t need a degree to succeed in this role. What matters most is your ability to connect with people and offer honest, compassionate support. What You’ll Do Welcome and enroll new participants into the program, meeting them where they are, both emotionally and physically (in the community, not just behind a desk). Assist people in finding the resources, services, or community connections they need to reach their goals, this could be therapy, job training, fitness programs, housing help, or peer support. Check in regularly (about once per quarter) to see how things are going, provide encouragement, and help adjust plans if needed. Support participants in tracking their spending and submitting receipts for approved services. Advocate for participants and help them assess whether the services they’re receiving are helpful or if something else might work better. Maintain accurate records and submit required reports to keep the program running smoothly. Take part in team meetings, trainings, and feedback sessions so you can continue learning and growing in the role.
