WANT TO DO SOMETHING MEANINGFUL?

A young man who lives with his mom is looking for a Self-Directed employee who can assist him with a variety of tasks which include but not limited to; implement personal care plan:
Assist with bathing, grooming, safely transfer to bed and wheelchair, diaper changes, home management - laundry, change linen, dust bedroom, sanitize surfaces and bathroom, and refill supplies; meal preparation and oral feeding, range of motion exercises and other areas of support. The employee should having current CNA or previous direct CNA experience and comfortable in supporting someone with an advance level of care. These duties include g-tube medication administration, flushing/ cleaning of the g-tube, and feeding via the g-tube. On-Site GTube TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED! Other duties will be assigned as the young man’s needs change and evolve.
This young man is a sports fan who has two favorite NFL teams, the Eagles and the Bengals, and enjoys watching the Flyers. He enjoys going to the mall and is also looking to get connected to his community. He also enjoys his iPad and reading books. He has a great sense of humor and has a genuine and sensitive personality.
The position will be split into three positions, however, flexibility in hours can be negotiated. The SDE should be available to provide backup support one Saturday or Sunday afternoon per month.
Schedule of Service Shifts
Monday through Thursday: 8a - 4p and 12a to 8p and Friday: 8a-2p
Saturday annd Sunday 8a - 4p
