Description Purpose: The Self-Direction Broker Supervisor will be the primary contact person/support for all support broker related matters. The Self-Direction Broker Supervisor will act as a point person for any brokers within their region to assist the people receiving services and their advocates. The Self-Direction Broker Supervisor will assist with supervisory intervention and education to assure continuity of services and assist with ongoing project/team management. The Self-Direction Broker Supervisor will be responsible for any follow-up and coverage needed to ensure all support is being provided as identified in the person’s Life Plan, Staff Action Plan and the New York State OPWDD Self Direction Budget. The Self-Direction Broker Supervisor will support the brokers in understanding all AIM Self-Direction policies and procedures and assist in obtaining all required waiver documentation. The Self-Direction Broker Supervisor will work with the internal and external Self-Direction teams to ensure person centered supports are being provided and the teams have the tools/resources to access the budget funds. Responsible to: Director of Brokerage Supports and Services Status: Non-exempt Requirements Essential Functions: Support the AIM Self Direction Department with all broker/fiscal intermediary policies and procedures. Supporting the Self Direction Department with routine external trainings. Oversight and supervision of agency-supported brokers, and training to both internal and external brokers. Ensure that the teams are trained and comfortable with the eVero Software Platform. Other Duties: Participate as an active member of the individuals’ program team and Circle of Support. Flexibility of schedule to ensure individual care and program implementation. Any and all other related duties as requested by supervisor.

Responsibilities

The Self-Direction Broker Supervisor acts as the main contact for support brokers, providing assistance, supervisory intervention, and education to ensure service continuity for individuals receiving services. This role involves managing follow-up and coverage to align services with the Life Plan, Staff Action Plan, and the New York State OPWDD Self Direction Budget.
