Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

RG8 Facilities is looking for a professional, self-motivated Self-Employed Concierge / Front of House to provide ad hoc cover across our developments. This role involves covering evening shifts, as well as annual leave and sickness for other team members. As a key member of our facilities team, you will act as the first point of contact for residents, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of presentation and security throughout the building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resident Support: Be available to assist residents throughout your shift or ensure suitable cover/signposting when away from the desk.
  • Ad Hoc Shift Cover: Provide flexible cover for annual leave, sickness, and unplanned absences, with availability for evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Cleanliness & Maintenance: Carry out light cleaning duties during the night and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Parcel & Key Management: Receive, log, store, and issue parcels and keys in accordance with company procedures.
  • Access Control: Coordinate and supervise access for contractors, deliveries, and utility services while maintaining security protocols.
  • Utilities & Reporting: Perform meter readings as needed and provide thorough, clear handovers to incoming team members.
  • Safety & Security: Conduct routine building patrols, monitor CCTV, manage parking, and perform regular safety checks.
  • Waste Management: Carry out bin rotation and liaise with waste collection services.
