Nationwide Pathology Limited is a state-of-the-art UKAS accredited private pathology laboratory located in Lubenham, Market Harborough. We pride ourselves on providing an extensive and diverse range of pathology testing with same day turnaround and excellent customer service.
Due to the accelerated growth of Nationwide Pathology over the last few years, we are expanding our in-house courier collection service across the UK. We are looking for a reliable, professional, self-employed courier to collect samples from several clients daily.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure the timely and smooth collection of samples to be delivered back to our Laboratory each day.
Using and maintaining your own vehicle is required, with fuel being provided by the Company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Clean driving licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Proven experience working as a courier/delivery driver
  • Safe and conscientious driving skills
  • Familiarity and competence using GPS systems
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Accomplished customer service skills
  • Self motivation

Responsibilities
  • Collecting samples from clinics each day as specified on your daily manifest.
  • Delivering parcels and packages from our Head Office and delivering to specific addresses.
  • Preventing damage or loss of packages during transit.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries/collections.
  • Communicating effectively with the Logistics Manager; receiving new instructions and providing status updates throughout the route.
