JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair work, demonstrating proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service to our clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles with a solid understanding of mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers is advantageous.
  • Strong welding skills are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent command of English for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Previous supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
  • Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete tasks effectively.
  • Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Utilise programmable logic controllers for troubleshooting and maintenance of automated systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
  • Supervise junior staff or apprentices, providing guidance and leadership in daily tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Document all maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
