We are seeking a client-focused Self-Funded Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and servicing large self-funded EB accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering tailored solutions that align with their business needs. You will act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients while collaborating with internal teams to provide exceptional service. How you'll make an impact Serve as the primary point of contact for self-funded clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors. Analyze client data, claims, and trends to provide strategic recommendations and cost-containment solutions. Collaborate with internal teams, including production to design and implement customized self-funded insurance programs. Conduct regular client meetings to review plan performance, financials, and compliance updates. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging solutions in the self-funded space. Assist in the renewal process, including negotiating terms with carriers and vendors. Provide training and education to clients on self-funded plan management and compliance requirements. Maintain monthly reporting and deliverables Compensation: The target salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. About You Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience in self-funded account management, employee benefits, or a related field. Strong knowledge of self-funded insurance plans, stop-loss coverage, and claims management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in analyzing data and presenting actionable insights to clients. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. Relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS, RHU, or similar) are a plus. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
