Job Details Job Location: Auburn TMP - Auburn, WA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $75000.00 - $90000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Day Description Taylor Metal Products is seeking an outgoing, reliable, full-time, long-term team member. Our Outside Sales Representatives are responsible for developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with customers and outside stakeholders. This position serves Western Washington and Western Oregon. The work location can be in our Salem, Oregon or Auburn, Washington facility. Essential Functions: Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. Identify prospective customers by using established and innovative means. Aid the Self-Storage team while they prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs. Monitor self-storage market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales. Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports. Obtain credit information about prospective customers. Train customers' employees to install and maintain products. Prepare sales contracts and order forms. Negotiate details of contracts and payments. Demonstrate extensive product and self-storage industry knowledge. Follow established administrative and clerical procedures. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent required, College degree preferred 2-5 yr. previous sales experience required 2-5 yr. previous self-storage industry experience preferred Intermediate computer skills Construction Industry or relevant experience preferred Valid Driver’s license Fluency in English required Fluency in Spanish preferred Competencies: Initiative Motivation Teamwork Communication Planning and organizing Adaptability Work Environment: 50% indoor, 50% outdoor Occasional exposure to excessive noise Occasional exposure to moving machinery or mechanical parts Exposure to Hazards: (list general hazards, use OSHA list of 5 workplace hazards) Safety Physical Ergonomic Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance available Paid Vacation Time Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays Employer matching 401k Full-time work, year-round Payday lunches Qualifications
