Smash A Cake Brisbane are looking for bubbly & friendly individuals interested in working at our Father’s Day pop up shop during the 1st of Sept to the 6th of Sept at Westfield North Lakes (North Brisbane). We specialise in chocolate smash cakes (aka chocolate pinatas) filled with fresh, quality confectionery. We are a small family business and would love you to help us represent our brand in a positive light as we grow!

Job Responsibilities:

• Have confidence in managing the store alone during moderate/quiet hours
• Process customer transactions through SQUARE and cash handling
• Greet customers who approach the store in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations as needed
• Inventory management including: receiving and unpacking merchandise when delivered to stock room, ensuring all stock is full by refilling shelves as needed, and conducting stock checks when required
• Maintaining a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well displayed and stocked
• Opening and closing the pop-up depending on the allocated shift

Hours and availability:

• Available from the 1st of Sept to the 6th of Sept
• Able to work approximately 20 hours a week
• Transportation to North Lakes Westfield Shopping Centre
• Please ensure your resume has any possible unavailability during the 1 week period
