Description
Strong foundation in deep learning and computer vision, particularly experience with CNNs and transformers for visual understanding. A working knowledge of wireless data transmission and compression techniques for semantic encoding. Hands-on experience in Python programming using PyTorch, OpenCV, or related libraries for image/video processing and model development. Basic understanding of semantic communication, edge computing, and network-aware AI systems. Interest in XR system prototyping. Analytical ability to evaluate system performance, including designing appropriate evaluation metrics and experiments. Experience with Unity/Unreal or network simulation tools (ns-3, Mininet) for XR system prototyping being a plus.
