Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and Inspire: Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) that are tailored to the unique needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Creative Lesson Planning: Develop innovative and hands-on learning activities that make complex concepts fun and accessible.
- Build Relationships: Establish strong, positive connections with students, fostering a supportive and understanding classroom atmosphere.
- Behaviour Management: Implement creative strategies to manage and positively influence behaviour, turning potential challenges into learning opportunities.
- Collaborate: Work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including teaching assistants and pastoral staff, to ensure every student receives the support they need.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable, but a passion for making learning engaging and fun is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication, creativity in lesson delivery, and the ability to make subjects interesting and relatable.
- Personality: Energetic, patient, and resilient with a great sense of humour—you can turn even the toughest days into positive experiences.
- Qualifications: Teaching qualification preferred, but we value experience and enthusiasm just as much!
