Progress Teachers are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an SEMH Provision in Leicestershire. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with challenging behaviours & SEMH, and have a focus around building relationships with students and high expectations for behaviour.
Due to expanding their staff base, the Provision are looking for multiple Teaching Assistant’s to join their team long-term, either to start ASAP or in September 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience preferred but open to individuals with transferable skills from roles such as Youth Work, Family Support Worker, and Children’s Residential Support Worker.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting academic and emotional development.

Experience:
