Are you a qualified and passionate Primary Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners?
The Supply Room is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-supported SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) primary school in Bournemouth.
We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to creating inclusive, structured and nurturing learning environments for pupils who present with behavioural challenges.
As a teacher in this specialist setting, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the unique needs of your students.
You’ll play a central role in developing academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and behavioural growth.
Working closely with teaching assistants, behaviour mentors, and the wider school team, you will implement personalised learning plans and positive behaviour strategies to support children in overcoming barriers to education.
Beyond classroom instruction, your role will involve building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and fostering a safe, consistent, and stimulating space where they feel understood and valued.
You’ll monitor progress, contribute to planning meetings and liaise with families and external professionals as needed.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated teacher who wants to work in a school that truly values the difference educators can make in a child’s life.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional behavioural and emotional needs
