UP TO £32,000 DOE

We are seeking a talented and motivated Semi Senior Accountant to join our client, who are a well-established accountancy practice in Derby. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and be able to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years’ experience working in a UK Accountancy Practice
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ideally experienced using Sage, QuickBooks and Xero

• Completion of VAT returns
• Preparation of tax computations and tax returns
• Assisting with audit assignments
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Maintaining and developing relationships with clients
• Managing workload and meeting deadlines
