JOB OVERVIEW

Ecosystems Technologies are focussed on maximising off-site manufacture and utilising sustainable, home-grown materials to deliver high-quality modular buildings from our site in Invergordon. As our business continues to grow, we have new exciting opportunities for Semi-Skilled Operatives to join our team! Supporting in the manufacture of our modular buildings, ranging from individual units, to large commercial builds, and a wide variety of manufacturing duties - it means no day is ever the same! Opportunities include training alongside experienced team members to gain skills and knowledge of our manufacturing processes to ensure strict quality parameters and maintained whilst allowing us to develop and enhance our Semi-Skilled team.

EXPERIENCE

Required Skills:
- Experience within the construction/manufacturing industry
- Experience using hand tools/power tools
Desired Skills:
- Experience with modular buildings
- Experience with cladding installation, painting, furniture manufacture

Responsibilities
  • Manufacture/framing of our CLT, GLT and NLT build systems, utilising and developing an understanding of our manufacture drawings. Cutting panels to size, and general preparation of panels including sanding and fire-protection application to allow these to move through the manufacture process.
  • Providing on-going assistance alongside the joinery team(s) in the manufacture process, gaining valuable skills and understanding to enhance the ability to become more actively involved in each stage of the process. Works include insulating panels, preparing CLT, GLT and NLT products, cutting/preparing materials, and installing modular buildings together.
  • Ensuring work areas are kept well maintained, tools are kept in good working condition and reported where faults through daily checks and ensuring work area is well stocked with all tools/material/equipment to maintain the flow of manufacture.
  • Assistance in unloading deliveries and uplifts of materials and manufactured goods to ensure safe loading and unloading in line with the business’ Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for your own and your colleagues health, safety and welfare in the factory environment in line with Ecosystems safety procedures.
  • Ensuring complaince with the business’ Air Table QA System - understanding the requirements to sign off checks at appropriate stages throughout the manufacture process.
  • Supporting with on-site installations, as required, including transport preparation. Ability to have flexibility to support with installs across various locations is preferred, but not essential.
