SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in Canada. We are a Kenora, ON based company, but this role is Canada wide. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting equipment and rail safely and efficiently, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations
  • Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance preferred
  • Must have experience loading and hauling excavators and backhoes - no exceptions

Responsibilities
  • Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo information
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
  • Assist in loading and unloading freight as needed
  • Perform basic maintenance on vehicles as required
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
