Description
Perform regular field inspections during construction and supervise the project to ensure that it is within the agreed scope, schedule and budget, and that the work is being performed in accordance with design concepts. Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Develop criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. 1. Engineering principles, including statics, dynamics; 2. Navigating local and international building codes; 3. Designing municipal utility conveyance both overhead and underground; 4. Navigating and working within design software programs, including Autodesk Civil 3D, Auto Cad, REVIT, and Navisworks; 5. Technical writing and mechanical drafting; 6. Project management.
