JOB SUMMARY: Seminole Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, service technicians, and the dealership in sourcing and providing automotive parts efficiently and accurately. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a strong understanding of automotive parts and inventory systems. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist customers and service technicians with identifying and locating the correct parts for repairs and maintenance. * Process parts orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. * Maintain and organize inventory, including receiving, stocking, and tracking parts. * Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions. * Collaborate with the service and sales departments to fulfill internal part needs. * Research and source parts that may not be readily available in inventory. * Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring adequate supply and minimal shortages. * Process returns, warranties, and exchanges as per dealership policies. * Stay up to date on Volkswagen parts, promotions, and technical knowledge. * Follow all dealership policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines. ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Prior experience in an automotive parts department or dealership preferred. * Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory systems. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. * Proficiency in computer systems and dealership software. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. * Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record preferred. ---------------------------------------- BENEFITS: * Competitive pay based on experience. * Health, dental, and vision insurance options. * 401(k) retirement plan with company match. * Paid time off and holidays. * Employee discounts on parts, service, and vehicles. * Opportunities for training and career advancement. ---------------------------------------- HOW TO APPLY: Interested candidates can apply by submitting their resume and a brief cover letter to Ron Davis RDavis@vtaig.com or visiting our dealership at Seminole Chevrolet.
