Job Title: SEN Administrator / Exams Officer
Location: Stockport
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm, 46 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £23,000 – £24,500 per annum (Scale Point 2–6) + Additional Responsibility Allowance (ARA) of £848 per annum

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive SEN Administrator / Exams Officer to join our dedicated team at a specialist school in Stockport. This is a rewarding, full-time role supporting the smooth operation of the school’s SEN provision and examination processes.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that students with special educational needs receive timely and appropriate support, and that all internal and external assessments are coordinated efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

EXAMS OFFICER DUTIES:

  • Organise and coordinate all aspects of internal and external examinations, including access arrangements.
  • Ensure all exam entries, timetables, and communications with exam boards are accurate and timely.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to ensure appropriate support and arrangements for pupils with SEND.
  • Recruit and manage invigilators, providing training and clear guidance.
  • Maintain secure exam conditions and comply with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
