As a SEND teacher at Danecourt, you’ll lead a small class of pupils with a range of needs including autism, communication difficulties, and sensory processing disorders. You’ll have the opportunity to make a life-changing impact every single day by:

  • Delivering Personalised Learning:Design and implement creative, individualised learning experiences that help every child reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Collaborating with Support Staff:Work closely with a skilled team of teaching assistants, therapists, and professionals to provide holistic support for every child.
  • Engaging Families:Build strong relationships with families and carers, offering insight, encouragement, and practical strategies to support their children beyond the classroom.

WHO YOU ARE

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate SEND Teachers who are:

  • Experienced and Qualified:You hold QTS and have a strong understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND, ideally with experience in a specialist or mainstream SEN setting.
  • Creative and Flexible:You adapt quickly, bring energy and new ideas to the classroom, and approach each day with a solution-focused mindset.
