SEND LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT – SECONDARY SCHOOL (CH43, WIRRAL)

We are looking for a full-time SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the CH43 area of Wirral. The school caters for pupils with social, behavioural and learning difficulties, and you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

ROLE DETAILS:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Contract: Long-term, spanning the full academic year
• Pay: Competitive daily rate on offer

YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE:

• Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, as well as those with additional learning difficulties.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support under the direction of the class teacher.
• Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress.
• Assisting with classroom management and promoting a calm, inclusive learning environment.
