SEN PPA TEACHER – SECONDARY

Some teachers can walk into a classroom and instantly lift the energy.
That’s the type of teacher we’re looking for.
This is a PPA cover role in a large secondary school, working with students who have a range of special educational needs. You’ll be moving across classes, mainly teaching topic-based lessons. Flexibility is key — every day’s different, and you’ll need to adapt quickly while keeping students engaged and on side.

We don’t mind if your background is in SEND, primary, or secondary. What matters is:

• You’re confident with secondary-aged students.
• You bring energy, positivity, and presence into every lesson.
• You’ve got the resilience to handle whatever the day throws at you.

If you can bring extra vocational skills too — sports, outdoor learning, music, arts, practical trades — even better. Those real-world skills make a huge difference to these pupils.
