At Seashell we are proud to be providing care and education for children and young people with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.
As a Specialist Teacher at Seashell you will become a part of our outstanding school team and work as a specialist teacher for a class no bigger than 6 students. Students in Manchester Royal School are aged between 4 and 19, and all follow an individual Seashell curriculum. In addition to a teaching team that includes art, horticulture, music, and cookery teachers you will also be supported by a fantastic team consisting of other SEN teachers and a strong senior teacher and leadership team.
We are recruiting for a Specialist SEN Teacher who wishes to work as a part of a wider team to provide exceptional outcomes for the most complex students. You will be joining a new state of the art school with advanced resources and a dedicated team of Therapists based on site. You will have access to an exceptional training package that will support you in developing your already impressive specialist SEN teaching experience and will work as part of an empowering, supportive and innovative school team. You will be responsible for a group of students and be the line manager for a number of Teaching Assistants.
