JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages on swimming techniques, safety practices, and water confidence. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their swimming goals.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of swimming techniques and safety protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with students of all ages.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for learners.
  • Relevant certifications in swim instruction or first aid/CPR are advantageous.

    Pay: £130.00-£150.00 per day

Responsibilities
  • · Provide tuition for participants of varying ages and abilities in the swimming development programme.
    · Promote and develop swimming and water based activities and hygiene practices.
    · Maintain a swimming development programme in accordance within the ASA National Plan for Swimming Teaching.
    · Ensure the safety and welfare of all persons visiting the pool and surrounding areas.
    · Maintain administrative records for relevant water based lessons and other related activities.
    · Provide records and lesson plans of participants in the swimming development programme.
    · Assist with the co-ordination of swimming enrolments.
