GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to work with children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of special educational needs (SEN) in Lincoln. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, and SEMH
  • Teach across a broad age range (2-19), adapting teaching styles to suit Early Years, Primary, or Secondary-aged learners
  • Use creative and flexible strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
  • Monitor progress and write individual education plans (IEPs) in line with EHCPs
