START: SEPTEMBER | TEACHING LEARNERS WITH SEN

Do you have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you confident teaching Maths, English, or Science across Key Stages 1 to 4, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet individual learning needs?
Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated teachers to deliver education to pupils with SEN who may be out of mainstream school, in alternative provision, or on reduced timetables. Your role will be to re-engage these learners through patient, structured teaching.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can support)
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and working with vulnerable learners
• A passion for inclusive education and student-centred learning

• Provide teaching in Maths, English, or Science for SEN learners (KS1–KS4)
• Use strategies for supporting a wide range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more
• Build trust and promote a positive learning experience through encouragement and consistency
• Help pupils regain routine, confidence, and academic progress through small, achievable goals
