SEN TEACHER

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Bourne End (SL8)
Salary: £150 - £250 per day
Full time: Monday - Friday (term time only)

Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in a supportive and dynamic environment? We are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced educator to join a fantastic SEN school in Bourne End.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working with SEN students
• QTS preferred, but strong unqualified candidates will be considered
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs and a patient, adaptable approach

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, tailoring learning to meet their individual needs and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging lessons to meet the needs of SEN students
- Implement EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support student progress
- Foster a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and reports to parents/carers and senior staff
- Participate in staff training and CPD to develop your expertise in SEN teaching
