Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking experienced SEN teachers for full time teaching roles in the borough of Hillingdon. The appointed teachers will ideally be qualified with QTS, however, we will also consider unqualified teachers with strong teaching experience within SEN.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to students with special educational needs, ensuring they are supported both academically and personally. You will play a key role in helping students develop their confidence, social skills, and independence in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
You will be working closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff members, and will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to meeting each student’s individual needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN
  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and help build their confidence and independence
  • Work closely with other other members of staff to provide effective support that meets each students needs
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods as required
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them updated on student progress
