Experience within a care or education workplace setting
First-hand experience of working with children and/or young adults with either complex needs, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or autistic spectrum conditions
Experience of supporting either children or young people with challenging behaviour
Enthusiasm, determination and resilience
Empathy and self-awareness
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
These can also be physically demanding roles with a requirement to keep up with some of our more active students who may like to run, use our adapted bikes and go in the swimming pool – therefore you must be physically able to meet these requirements.
