JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, including autism and other disabilities. This role is essential in helping to facilitate the learning process and ensuring that all students receive the attention and support they require.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience working with people with autism or other disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong teaching abilities, with a focus on engaging children in learning activities.
  • Previous experience with children, particularly in an educational or care setting.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and principles.
  • Ability to provide toddler care with patience and understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within an educational environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children while working within a supportive team dedicated to fostering growth and development in every student.
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
    Pay: £97.68-£127.10 per day
    Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

  • Teaching: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
