  Derby Grammar School is looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their support team. Starting in September 2025 you will join our outstanding support team.
  Working within our SEND department you will support the teaching and learning and pastoral needs for pupils within Derby Grammar School. Working within the Senior School to support pupils on our SEND register, including those with EHCPs, with SEND needs such as ASD, speech, language and communication, SEMH, and SpLD.
  Derby Grammar School is a co-educational independent school that has provided excellent schooling to pupils from Derby and across the County. Our school setting dates back to the 18th century and is surrounded by extensive grounds.
  Established in 1995, Derby Grammar School is a leading independent school for children aged between 4 and 18. Located in the Derby suburb of Littleover our secluded grounds provide the perfect setting for a first-class educational experience.

  The successful candidate will be experienced in supporting students in an education setting and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND, such as ASD and dyslexia would be looked upon favourably.
