SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – AUTISM & SEMH SUPPORT - RICHMOND

  • Location: Richmond Upon Thames
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term to Permanent after two terms
  • Salary: £475 - £500 PAYE per week

An expanding specialist school in Richmond, South West London, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a therapeutic and structured setting, supporting students who benefit from patience, creativity, and emotional resilience.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven TA or Learning Support Assistant in an SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision setting
  • Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and SEMH and effective support strategies
  • Confident in managing behaviour and fostering positive relationships with students
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children with complex needs
  • Experience using Team Teach and/or therapeutic strategies is a bonus.
