Are you an experienced or aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a primary school? A welcoming and inclusive school in Retford is seeking a dedicated individual to support pupils with special educational needs from September.

THE ROLE:

This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position involves supporting children with a range of needs, including autism, speech and language delays, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils access learning and achieve progress in line with their personalised plans.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver individualised support for pupils with SEN
• Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and targeted interventions
• Foster an inclusive, positive and supportive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and parents/carers
• Encourage pupils to build confidence, independence and resilience
