JOB TITLE: QUALIFIED TEACHING ASSISTANT – SEN SCHOOLS

Location: Derby
Start Date: September 2025
Full-Time and Part-Time Roles Available | Term-Time Only
Daily Pay: £85 – £120 (depending on experience)
We’re a local recruiting agency, hiring on behalf of a specialist SEN schools
Are you a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Provide Education is currently recruiting for Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to join our SEN team in the Derby area, from September 2025.
We have both full-time and part-time opportunities, including long-term roles for the right candidates. This is a fantastic chance to join a supportive and experienced SEN team and make a real impact in pupils’ lives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Assisting in managing challenging behaviours positively and professionally
  • Working alongside teachers to adapt learning activities to pupil needs
  • Supporting classroom routines and promoting a positive environment
  • Assisting with personal care as needed

We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with SEN and/or challenging behaviour (essential)
  • A patient, calm, and positive attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting every child’s potential
  • Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
