Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this full-time role, you’ll be supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 who need extra help with learning, behaviour, or emotional development. You’ll work one-to-one and in small groups, helping children feel safe, confident and ready to learn. The role may involve working with pupils with autism, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Providing targeted support, guided by teaching staff and the SENCO
  • Implementing strategies from EHCPs and intervention plans
  • Supporting pupils with managing behaviour, focus and emotional regulation
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning space
  • Observing and reporting on pupil progress and engagement
