Engage Education are currently working in partnership with a primary school in LS11 who are looking for an outstanding SEN teaching assistant to join them on a full time, long term basis. If the role goes well there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent assignment.

Your Role:

• Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis often with complex learning needs
• Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents
• You will be assisting pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities

• A range of behaviour management techniques
• To have worked with learners with a range of needs
• The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
• To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
• A resilient attitude
