We are seeking to recruit experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN School in Aberdare. The school supports learners between the age of 11 - 18 years old with ASD, PDA, Global Delay Disorder and Challenging Behaviour and as a result, we are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants in or around Aberdare who are experienced in any of these fields.
The school require 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to start full time, long term roles from September 2025 for the entire academic year 2025-2026
As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, we will give you the opportunity to work in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as numerous privately run education provisions across Wales.

• Supporting and supervising learners with ASD, PDA, Global delay Disorder or PMLD
• Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
• Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson
• Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
• Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
• Assist learners at break time with their lunch
• Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
• Work in accordance to the school’s behaviour management policies
