Salary: £90 – £105 per day (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker, you’ll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), Speech & Language Difficulties, and Complex Learning Needs. You’ll be working alongside experienced staff in special schools and alternative provision units, offering vital academic and emotional support that enables pupils to thrive.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support inside and outside the classroom
  • Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs
  • Assisting teachers in delivering a differentiated curriculum
  • Helping create a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting with personal care and mobility, where necessary
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to pupil support plans
